Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Home Shots

Cooper loved helping Brad decorate the tree... he was REALLY helpful... okay, so he caused more havoc than help, but it was still fun!

"Here's the Tree, Dad! I found it!".... and then fell into the box. :-) HA HA HA!

Playing with cousins at Thanksgiving and Grandpa Grable. We hosted thanksgiving this year at our house. Brad's mom had back surgery on November 10 and wasn't quite up to hosting yet, and we had a great time and made way too much food. The kids, minus Cooper due to nap time, went outside with Brad, Jared, Kelly and Grandpa Grable and rode four wheelers and played. I enjoyed the quiet inside with my hot cider and black Friday ads. Cooper and I stayed home from shopping b/c he has an ear infection, but I sent my wishlist with other shoppers!

Brad and Cooper watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Hanging with Grandma Lawrence at Thanksgiving!

This walker is a blessing and curse.... it's great b/c he's contained, but bad b/c he can get into anything! No-No City! He uses it quite a bit at Courtney's house (she let us borrow it for the weekend).

Almost walking! He pushes this thing everywhere... and it goes really fast on hardwood! :-) Angela Huff let us borrow it... apparently many a child have learned to walk thanks to this thing. We predict he'll be walking around Christmas or shortly therafter. Lord help us! :-)

Checking the laundry! Cooper will watch the laundry go around as long as we let him stand there. Too funny.

CHEESE! Caught trying to escape to the laundry room to rearrange/eat the shoes.

He loves to look out the window and chat to whatever/whoever will listen. We have to make sure all blinds are out of reach b/c no window is sacred anymore. He especially likes looking out the window in the living room, especially when Brad is working outside. He recenlty discovered the patio door, and the dead flies all around. EWWWWW. I thought sweeping daily would prevent that, but I guess not!

Riding in style! One toy, two options. Great times.

Almost walking...

Pics to come soon, just an update that Cooper is so close to walking. He is free standing all the time... he just let's go and smiles, looks around like he's pretty tough, then either falls or grabs quickly onto whatever surface he can grab.

His favorite new word is "no no no no no" while he shakes his finger at you. geez, do you think he hears that too much?

Halloween and Other Fun Things!

Brad got a heck of a deal (I guess) on an old dirt bike to ride for fun. Cooper thought it was pretty neat!

Here's our new little Purdue Cap. Not a huge fan, but if you distract him he'll leave it on. I think he's adorable in hats, so I push the issue as long as he can stand it!

My Uncle Walt flew his plane down from Indianapolis to Greencastle's airport. Here are some pics of Cooper and Brad looking at the airplane.... notice Cooper is initially attracted to the tires. He has an obsession!

Halloween was a blast! We took Cooper to all the grandparents houses, then to the Harvest Party at GCC. He was the baby hulk and yes, that's green hair. Look at those curls! Many of you may not know, but Brad used to have blonde curly hair until his dad shaved it.... and it came back dark and straight. So stay away from my baby with those shears! I love the curls.

Cameron, Sydney, and Cooper.... a.k.a. Annikin Skywalker, The Good Witch, and the Hulk

Random

Splish Splash! Sydney, Cooper and Cameron are takin' a bath! This is the before picture...

Cooper with Courtney Dickey (his babysitter) on the hayride.

Enjoying a cracker by the fire.... in his carharts.

This is Cooper's first real boo-boo. It was way worse in person and bled forever, but he's fine! Just has a little shiner now. :-)

We went Muddin'. 'Nuff said.

So Brad and I went to the Badlands in Attica last week in the Rhino. I admit, I was not looking forward to it. It was cold and wet, and I had to wear 4 layers just to stay warm. And the hills were so steep I had already decided I was just going to get off and let him ride up and come back down to pick me up. But low and behold, I had THE BEST time and can't wait to go back! Aside from having Cooper with us, I can't imagine a better day! What a great time we had!
Yeah... we just came through that tunnel. and the drop off is a lot bigger than it appears!
Brad going up and down some hills. I went up and down these too, but wanted to show everybody what I did!

Senior Night, GHS Volleyball and Playing with Papa

Congratulations to Brooke! Senior night for volleyball was Thursday, October 16. They won 3 matches in a row to win the game against Riverton Park! Brooke played awesome!!!! I can't believe she'll be graduating, but excited to watch her blossom even more.
I can't get the pictures moved down, but here are some pcis in the middle of senior night of Cooper playing with Gene (Brad's dad). They had a great time, and Gene was like a jungle gym for Cooper.

Back to senior night.... Cooper had a shirt that said "I love #13" on the front and LEWIS on the back with the number 13. So cute!

Faithful Fans at the game.... dad, mom, Brad, Heather L. and Nathan. Cameron, Sydney, Cooper and Uncle David were also there. We are quite the cheering section.

Fall in Indiana....

Here goes Cooper and Papa to Mansfield! It was hot and crowded, but Cooper as usual did great with the crowds. Thanks to Mike and Kacey for letting us use the wagon. Putting on my shades! It was 85 degrees that day... too hot for Covered Bridge Festival.
Here are some pics of Cooper's play date with Carson and Nolan Wood. We had a great time! Can't wait to get together with our friends again. Carson is 3 and Nolan is almost 6 months. Their mom Holly came also. :-)
Carson was a big help with the babies!
Chowing down on Wheels!
We went to Beasley's Orchard with Courtney, Megan and Emily Dickey. It was beautiful! They had a hayride, pumpkin patch, store with all kinds of goodies, and many many other activities. Next year will be tons of fun with Cooper!

Here is our tractor/hayride driver, Rex, who is Megan and Emily's grandpa. We got special treatment :0)
Look Charlie Brown! Look at my great pumpkin!
What a cute family! Emily, Rex, Courtney, Megan and Cooper.

Cooper hanging out with daddy before bedtime. Look at his big boy PJ's! We've had to drop his crib two notches b/c he now stands up... see below!

Working on eating all by myself. Stop growing so fast!!!

More pictures from the orchard (Beasley's).

Pulling up on everything!

Helping unload pumpkins at the GCC Pumpkin Patch. We unloaded over 1000 pumpkins! Whew!
Yep, this is usually how I find him after nap time and in the morning!

BABY HULK! Here is Cooper's Halloween costume. We're probably going with green hair gel, since he has more than this mask.
Look at my muscles!!!!! I am a big strong baby hulk!
So here is our new trick. We take our toy that he used to use and lay under and he tips it over and plays with it like it's a tent and hides behind it. It's too cute... this is a picture of me sneaking up and taking a picture from above.
