Bath Time, Play Date

Just some random shots of Cooper in the bathtub... check out the shaggy hairdo! I just can't cut it, not yet.... maybe in the spring!
Below are pics of Cooper with his friend, Jacob. Jacob's mommy, Ryan, and I worked together at IU Med Center. They came down to bring Cooper's bday present and hang out.

First Birthday

What a great Birthday! Cooper got all kind of cool new toys (on top of Christmas!) and had a great time with family, friends, and cake. His favorite part were the balloons the next morning (see above) because they finally dropped to his level.

Sharing with Dad!

He was a bit tentative at first, but dove right in as you can see.

What a lucky guy to have so many people care about him and come to his party!

Great Grandma Marie was there, and Grandm Kathy too.

And Grandma Cheri, Great Grandpa Lawrence, and so many others!

Great Aunt Linda did such a great job on the cake, and it was delicious as always. Cooper has his own little cake with his name on it... and for the adults, not only cake, but chocolate fondu! YUM.

Christmas

Christmas was crazy! Cooper thinks he should open gifts everyday, b/c that's all he did for two weeks. Here he is Christmas morning (above), ready to open gifts! I apologize the pictures are out of order.... my blogging skills are lacking!

And, here is he after gifts (below). He was zonked out! You'll notice Brad is also asleep... it was a rough morning. :-)

Cooper with Aunt Brooke on Christmas Eve

The most annoying toy in the world, and one of his favorites, from Grandma and Grandpa Lewis. The lawnmower sings and says 20phrases with a two pack a day 65 year old smoker voice. :-)

The great present EVER.

New dumb truck and front end loader (Brad had to tell me that). Cooper loves them!

Cooper with cousin Addison at Papa and Grandma Grable's

He turns over all trucks/cars/tractors/etc. to play with the wheels.

And yet another Christmas with my aunts and uncles at Grandpa and Grandma Lewis's house!

Not even a Christmas present, this horse is taking up quite a bit of room! Thanks, Grandma Cheri. :-) No, really, Cooper loves this thing. He gives it kisses and hugs 4-5 times a day.

After the Christmas morning carnage.... not too much damage.
Cooper looking in his stocking Christmas Morning! He got a couple books and some little cars.

After opening presents, Cooper was more interested in the box and the paper than the toys... typical kid! :-) But he really did love his fire engine the Dickey's got him for Christmas.

Here's Cooper and Courtney Dickey working on the fire engine. He loves this toy!

Opening more presents!
